Store crap.
Oct. 25th, 2004 08:25 pmOk. So it seems that the beeches at work were snarking about me behind my back again.
However, it also seems that my Manager has figured out that they are merely beeches, and did what he does best: Ignore them, and hope that someone else deals with it.
Now, if he had only handled it that way from the start. No wait, perhaps I should say that he should have handled it AT ALL from the start.
No matter.
We are entering HELL WEEK. My favorite. This is where I really get a chance to shine. However, this is going to be especially evil-flavored, since I am locked down for the next week with no day off.
Bleah.
At any rate, don't look for me on the 30th or the 31st. I will be either in the store or sleeping, most likely. Oh, on Halloween, I will make the rounds with the kids or hand out candy from home, and THEN I will fall over and sleep.
However, here's the good news: Our "Everything Must Go 50% off" sale starts on October 31st, continuing into November 1st.
BWA HA HA.
So if there's something ya want, come out on Halloween and fight the other buzzards to get it at half off.
Or... tell me so that I can buy it FOR you. Cash up front, please.
I also made a decision. I might go back next year if invited. However, I WON'T work for this Manager again. I will drive to some other location and work for any of the three managers that I actually like and respect. No more of this stupid BS.
Of course, I might not return at all. By then I might be making 35-45K per year doing my dream job. Pray for me...
