Plans, ideas, thoughts...
Aug. 30th, 2005 08:21 pmSeptember is going to be a bear, despite the fact that I am NOT working in "Halloween" this year.
First of all, half of the people I know were born in September. Hey everyone! Expect little embroidered tokens, mending, costume pieces, etc from me this year. Me, too, actually.
Then, keep in mind that there's Labor Day Weekend (of DOOM), followed by a kids visit, then there's the weekend of the Round Bobbin expo thingie, so I'm working Friday and Saturday of that weekend (I weaseled out of Sunday.) After that is my birthday weekend, with kids again.
Then... it's ARCHON weekend.
Ugh. I have stuff to DO!
Add to THAT the fact that there's more training, and less people at work, and my department manager wants THREE people on the floor at all times if possible.
Because now we have the UberDepartment OF LOVE, and so we need to staff it, apparently. One of my coworkers is out for surgery which will probably take the whole of September for her recovery.
Erg.
Then there's October, which includes several events I wish to attend, plus I need to get the Ball up and running.
Default for this is the Shrewsbury community center, but it closes at Midnight, so I am investigating other options.
(Whimper. I want the CITY MUSEUM, dammit! It's just too damned expensive!)
So.
What would you like to hear me rant about? Plans and costumes for Archon? Work complaints and triumphs? Troupe related stuff? Life philosophies?

Date: 2005-08-31 02:28 am (UTC)Archon for $100: Are you in any of the big stage presentations I'm hearing about for Grand Masquerade?
Archon for $200: Have you got crash space? With circa $3.00/gal gas, I can't imagine you commuting.
Archon for $300: Did you mention a room party? Which ones are you co-hosting? How is that going? Need anything?
