Seeking Minions

So, some of you might have heard that I'm involved with a performance Troupe.
You might have even heard that we're doing "A Midsummer Night's Dream" as dinner theater on August 12th.
You might have heard that tickets are $40, which covers the cost of the ticket to the play and your dinner, catered by the folks at Papagallo's restaurant. Mmm. Baklava!
You may even have heard that there's a website where you can buy tickets.
And all of this is true.
And now I am telling all of you that I am seeking minions for this show.
Minion Job Description:
As a minion you will be expected to:
*be at the Shrewsbury Community Center at approximately 5:00pm on the 12th.
*help with the set-up of the staging area, the stage proper, and table settings according to written directions and Minion Wranglers. (Tables will be set up by the community center staff.)
*help distribute plates of food to the patrons, and retrieve used plates from the tables, and help clear the tables at the end of the night.
*help clean up the room and take down all decorations and sets/props.
SOME minions may also be asked to:
*Man the door: take tickets or accept donations from latecomers.
*Help with the auction: We will have either a raffle or an auction (or possibly both). We will need people to help with this, and hawk tickets.
Minions will NOT be expected to:
*Perform other waitstaff duties. No taking orders, no offering menu items. You distribute food and bus tables.
*Perform in the play. You are allowed (yea, even encouraged) to be in costume of some kind (Chiton, fairy gear, renaissance garb, etc. Heck, I'd welcome some wenches and pirates.)
What Minions will GET:
*A small stipend. The amount paid to minions is directly proportional to the number of ticket sales, so if you can sell a friend/family member/coworker etc a ticket, you help guarantee a larger paycheck for YOU.
*Dinner. You will get a portion of the dinner being served which is: Greek Appetizers (Hummus, pita points, other dipping things), Greek Salad, Mousaka (with meat or vegetarian), and Baklava.
*See the Play. Come on, folks. For some of you who want to see this show because someone you know is in it, this is your chance to see it (and get that yummy dinner) for free. Plus make a little money on the side!
*My undying love and affection. Ok, most of you who read this stuff already HAVE that. But you would be invited to the CAST PARTY, and that's a worthy lure, lemme tell ya.
