Packing on Tuesday night? Unheard of!

Conflation is this weekend, and since my dear friend mztish103 has offered to be my sugah daddee and buy me a badge, I shall be in attendance.

We're doing this the old fashioned way:
One box of costumes for me, One box for my shoe collection, and one box of random crap to share.
Yes, the shoes get their own box. I own many pairs of Stomp Your @ss And Make You Love Me boots. I also have some spiffy stiletto heels and the world's best slippers.
Yes, I intend to get all of the "ME" costumes down to one box.
Yes, I intend to costume everyone else, too. I love it when people get into my pants!

I am eager to play dress up with my friends. mztish103, professor, and stl_kitten, I'm looking at YOU...

Conflation's theme is "Spies in Las Vegas" best I can tell. Like I ever follow a theme...

My personal theme is "Comfy and Sexy: A State Of Mind" with a side concession theme of "Caesar's Palace." I will be promoting the Bacchanalia Ball and my other random appearances.

For play money, I will be doing:
Tarot readings for donations. Donations go toward new accessories and costumes for the troupe, actually.
Body painting by appointment only. Money to support my unsavory habits.

If anyone has a room and is interested in using it to throw a room party, now is the time to talk to me. Remember, I have some of the best party favors...

Now I am off to do some more sorting and packing. I will also be bringing my new digital camera, and hope that bradhicks remembers to bring me a driver for it. (Waah! I can't download my pictures!)

Go ahead. I will bring some headdress options with me. (I got a new one tonight, and I might simply copy it for you. It's a "wedding veil" headband with pearls, but I bet we could copy it in gold and black beads...)

Not sure. If you can get me that press pass, there's no reason why I wouldn't show up on Friday as well. If I'm paying my way on Saturday, then probably 1 in the afternoon or so.

O.o; I can't seem to really find any info about this, and I'm spazzing a bit. Neither of us have any clue what to where to this, as we don't really have much of a clue about it at all.. Dale is nervous because it is in Clayton anyway, but he does seem to be curious/interested, just nervous and unsure. I am really having trouble explaining it to him, and the conflation site 'about us' section tells you nothing about it, so....

It is... conflation.

For some, it is a weekend of relaxation amongst friends and acquaintances.
For others, it is a time of drunken debauchery, complete with scantily clad hotties and adult games of every stripe.
For yet others, it is a chance to parade around in one's sexiest finery and participate in the city's largest and finest slumber party.

For some people it is a total bore. For others, an opportunity to make new friends and intimate acquaintances.

It used to be the home of the finest room parties in town.
And this year it has a spy theme.

The first time in years, Mel and I won't be able to make it, due to financial concerns, a lack of transportation, and, I suspect, Mel's work schedule. Probably for the best, as I have been taking care of the pest control for that hotel for over a year now. Might be a bit of a sticky situation if they actually recognize me. *Grin*
