Well, despite everyone's best efforts, I am indeed sick this morning.

We worked hard to avoid the Martian Death Flu that usually kicks my @ss this time of year.

This morning I woke up with a sinus infection.

That's right: can't breathe through my nose and when I knocked it loose with steam (Mmm. Steam) what I blew out of my honker was a truly distressing color.

Now, mind you, I intend to continue with the vitamin and supplement routine, in fact I think I will ramp up a few bits of it.

So, pray for me. Send me energy. Let the Chi flow through me.

We are NOT going to let this turn into the Martian Death Flu. Dammit.

Let us also hope that today is a slow day at work. (Tomorrow promises to be very busy.)

You know what's good for clearing up your sinuses? Liquor. And lots of it. (Please keep in mind this comes from someone who rarely drinks. :p)

I have funny-colored mucus/snot/nose-juice too, so I empathize. I would be happy to send you some of my energy, except it's all infected and worn down, too. :(

If what you got is what I had, the Martian Death Flu kicked my ass. There were obvious stages... First was post-nasal drip, with that uniquely icky sore throat that you can taste... Then came the full-on head cold with painful swallowing... Then the fever, body-ache, and general miserable-feeling.

That's when the worst happened. I THOUGHT I got better.

Turned out to be the eye of the storm, because it knocked me flat a second time. And the last of it was about a week and a half to two weeks of serious congestion. Whatever it was that coated my lungs was more like jello than anything else. It just clung there and I couldn't cough it up no matter how I tried.

Be REALLY REALLY CAREFUL that you do not provoke a relapse. I swear it's worse the second time.
