Yep, the chariot is bearing down on me.

Currently our plans are to speak to another attorney on tuesday, see if they offer better/cheaper/different options than the one we talked to on Thursday.

But it's looking like we are going to have to let the house go.

I'm going to research what kind of loan *I* can get, and that might mean either him selling me the house in a quick-sale, or my attempting to buy the house on the courthouse steps at the last minute.

I just got back from my Papa's new house in Ellington, and therefore have some better news: Assuming that his current tenant is willing to move on or share the place, Papa has no problem with having us move in to his house in Dogtown. (so we're not 'homeless' as such.)

Papa's cousins are in the Electrician business; as it happens the company is willing to help pay for school for their employees, provided that they get good grades. This might actually be the right way 'round to get my S.O. employed and educated. Papa is going to look into it for us.

So I'm asking the universe for:
Either enough of a loan on my part to keep the house
or
Papa's tenant gracefully stepping aside for us to move in there as a "soft landing."

Papa's cousins to hire my S.O., and to also sponsor his schooling.

Because THEN, I wind up married to someone with the following credentials:

BA in Chemistry
BA in Philosophy
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Wrong side of the law

All he needs is a dozen loyal Minions and he becomes... A MAD SCIENTIST!!!
