Sponsored by OVERDRAFT CHARGES
Jan. 26th, 2005 07:14 pmThis very special episode of the BIG OL DORK SHOW has been sponsored by OVERDRAFT CHARGES.
Guys, I have to level with you. Don't let me tell you how to run your finances.
I had NINE overdraft charges on my account. Turns out I went into the red way sooner than I THOUGHT I did... and although there WAS a "mystery charge" from my debit card (Which I disputed and WON back my MONEY) It's my fault and no one else's.
This is why my plates are expired, by the way. In order to renew them, I have to pay the 2002, 2003 and now the 2004 taxes on that truck before I can get the plates renewed. It passed inspection, (both kinds) and everything, but I have to prove that I paid my property taxes before I can renew.
GROWL.
So, that $225 worth of overdraft charges could have gotten my plates legal again... and instead I have the ten bucks in my pocket to last me until NEXT payday in two weeks...
The raise was great, but it came too late.
Hopefully, I can manage to either weasel another raise and promotion out of Jackman's, or make it big with the Candle Business.
But none of you have any money to buy candles, so what's the point?
I can't do cleaning (which used to help grease the wheels a bit) because my back won't allow for it right now.
Here I am, acting as Brad's keeper, when I can't even manage my own shit worth a damn.
