What to wear... for Archon

kukla_tkoBelow are my thoughts about Archon. I'm planning my activities and my outfits.
Feel free to skip if this is not your thing or you want to be surprised.
Friday:
During the day, I'll likely wear something comfortable and silly. Pirate, perhaps.
Around 1:30 or 2pm, I intend to head back to the room to change and retrieve my stuff for the tea.
Special note: I will need a team. At the room I'm going to put on my make-up, the blouse of my outfit, and my underskirt. I will need humans to help load up the truck around 2:30, head over to the convention center, then unload the truck.
I will also need helpers to set up the tea.
Hopefully, I will have everything set up in time to put on the rest of the ensemble.
Yes, the Sub-Marine Dress (Mark 1) will be on display. Be afraid of its murky depths. Be very afraid.
Tea is served at 3:50.
Post-Tea: We will have a hard deadline to finish up the tea and break down. There's another party coming in that will need set up time. Helpers for post-tea will be very much appreciated.
I will then head back to the hotel, unload, dump everything back in the room, and go get some dinner. Not sure if I will do so in The Dress or not.
Friday Night:
Not sure what's going on at that point, but one of the things I want to do this year is MINIONS. Speak up, Minions! Should we do this Friday night or Saturday night after the masquerade again? I'm game for being a minion on Friday.
Minion Uniform: Yellow hoodie, in any shade of yellow. Solid color. Overalls or overall-dress. Blue denim. Goggles. Black gloves are recommended. Black boots are recommended. Facial make-up is not necessary.
Saturday:
Day time is also open, but I'm thinking that I might get fuzzy for it. It's a secret project. Shhhh! The alternate plan is to coordinate with The Girl in corset costumery.
Masquerade:
I have literally nothing planned for it.
This might be one of those rare years when I sit in the audience for the masquerade. I might even *gasp!* wait in line for it. Or offer to "help" my stepfather. LOL. Of course, I might instead decide to help out backstage. I'm also available as support crew or (better yet) meat puppet for other presentations. First come, first served!
It might be nice to get my Saturday afternoon back, though. It is tough when you have to give up so much of your weekend to a 30 second or less performance.
Post-Masquerade:
If we're not doing minions, and I'm not doing the fuzzy thing (See above), I expect to wear something with some 'slink'. There is that *other* project I've been contemplating. Something hobbit-themed. More than one hobbit-themed thing, in fact. Both are extremely HAWT.
Here's a hint: Beard, or perhaps wings instead?
Sunday:
I'm running the Dead Dog party, and I'm seriously considering making it Klingon Themed. It would be fun to trot out the latest in Finery for a Glorious Klingon Giver of Advice. Plus *my* Klingon gear is always remarkably easy to wear. We can make this year's punch "Blood wine" and have some "Gagh" (want a gummy worm?) and the leftovers from *everything else*.
So if anyone else wants to trot out their Klingon gear, this would be a great time to do so.
Failing that, I'll wear my witchy stuff again. Because I *like* my witchy stuff.
