So, we're in the end-zone for STLBJDCON, then the Holidaze are upon us!

Here's what my life looks like right now:
I'm working tonight, and every Thursday, until about 9pm.
(After December, I'll be working every Monday and Thursday until 9pm indefinitely.)
Friday night we have our final STLBJDCON meeting; if you're helping us out we'd love to have you come to the meeting. 7pm, my house.

Saturday I'm working until 5:30, then babysitting for some of my fairy godchildren.
Sunday, I'm working and we're doing Demo Days; feel free to come out and see nifty demonstrations! I'll be working with a pen-tablet thing that plugs into an embroidery machine and does COOL STUFF.

Working Monday night, Working Tuesday, Working Wednesday, Working Thursday night... then it's ALL STLBJDCON ALL THE TIME until Sunday night.

Thanksgiving week will be a nice break. A pleasant change. I'll be off for Thanksgiving but working the day after. (DO NOT call it Black Friday to me. I don't have the time or energy to explain why that title is epically stupid.) Fortunately, since I'm working the day after Thanksgiving, I'll be off on Saturday that weekend. I may get together with family then as well.

Fortunately for me, Thanksgiving is not a stressful holiday. It's very chill, my family gets together at the House of Party, a bird is cooked and consumed, and we sometimes play cards or watch weird movies or Dr. Who. Yeah, I know. Envy me; I'm bragging. :D I plan to find out which of my brothers is going to handle side dishes and which one wants to help me with clean-up. The only Thanksgiving Drama is the part where we distract my mom and prevent her from going into the kitchen. LOL.

After that, I dive right into the Holidaze!
Ecto-Con is the first weekend of December, but so is the Floriani event at Jackman's. I plan to do both because I'm apparently insane. :D
The next weekend is my Embroidery Professional Club, and if you think that's cool you might want to sign up and come.
After that we have our "Holiday Open House/Customer Appreciation" Day, and the week after that we're sliding into Xmas. I'll have Christmas Day and Boxing Day off, but I'm stuck working Christmas Eve. The good news is that I'm off on New Year's Eve, too, though I'm working New Year's Day. (Hint: Anyone want to throw a NYE-Eve party?)

Please feel free to let me know about other holiday events and stuff. I may not make it to everything but I do love the Holidays.
