Ok so you know part of it but your readers do not.
Had to work a 10 hour day on July 4 with... "the lazy idiot." My usual coworker was on another hall so I worked with who she calls "the highlighter" for her yellow hair... not blond yellow... and not like she meant it to be yellow like she used Manic Panic. No like she messed up her "normal" dye job.
So anyway she does NOTHING on the job. She had decided she was throwing a party... that meant that the CNA's had to request stuff from my boss because she does not know how to do that. She had the residents make cup cakes... that means she made them and would not let them touch any of the process... then she disappeared for hours... blowing up balloons, waiting for the kitchen to bake the cupcakes, and then decorating the cupcakes off the floor. She does not actually assist residents eat in the dining room for meals instead worries about text messages, talking and going to the kitchen for food for herself. Then its time for the party... I have to move the residents all in to the room because she thinks she can just leave them in the common area where the owner does not want residents being because 1) the echo from the high ceiling and lots of noise confuses them getting them upset, 2) it looks like they are not doing anything thus bad to families and potential new residents. After I move all the residents into the party room, I serve all the residents while she sits with one resident for the entire party... a resident who is unable to notice that she is even getting a one on one especially since this staff memeber refuses to touch residents.
Got a migraine and back ache from all of this... came home took the GOOD drugs and sat on the porch with Kukla, Professor, and Bakadragon to watch the neighbors shoot off some fireworks. Ungoth came over for a little as he had my phone. We all sat on the couch of doom talking for a while. That was it...
