If you are going and have a budget, consider that I've been raving for some time about the books from the Literary Underworld, in particular the books written by Elizabeth Donald. I'm still raving. I'm still recommending. HIGHLY. I know that a lot of people breeze past the book sellers at a relaxacon and I'm urging you to spend some money there this weekend.
I hear a rumor that one of my favorite massage therapists will be bringing a table to the con. (Hey, I have SEVERAL favorite massage therapists, ok? This one is good for the BODY AND SOUL.)
Do you need fairy wings for your outfit at the convention? I'm bringing a bunch. I'll have them at the Troll Party on Friday (Faerie Trophies!) and I'll see if one of my favorite dealers is willing to put a few out for the rest of the weekend. Things are very tight, as several bills came due right before the con (and one shut-off threat from the utility company) so I will have party goods, badge money, and that's about it. Hey, if anyone wants to feed me during the con, I'm a cheap date. (Drive-through does me just fine.)
I'm hoping to connect with clients who owe me some money tomorrow, but I'm not holding my breath. They'll be paying me right when I get my next check, oddly. Sigh. Oh well. It gives me time to put some polish on the big dumb weird thing I made for them.
I'm thinking that I'll be at the hotel in the neighborhood of 3pm or so. I'm hoping to avoid the post-work rush. I am bringing a hand cart, so if anyone else needs it let me know.
