kukla_tkoHad our visit today, went to see Sherlock Holmes in the afternoon. The restaurant adjacent to our Motel has a NYE thing going on and we're going to go check it out.
Last night we peeked in and they said that they're having steak dinner and music and stuff. There's fireworks going on all around us (but the fireworks stand is a couple hundred feet away, so that doesn't surprise me much.)
If the fireworks ramps up later, I will sleep with my Ipod.
Interesting day, all in all.
Yesterday, we had our visit followed by the buffet, then went back to the Motel and had a three hour nap. I was actually game to go back to sleep until morning, but instead we went and got some Subway and watched the first couple of episodes of Grimm. The Boy hasn't seen it, and now he agrees that it is pretty good.
Tomorrow, I plan to be out of here early so that we can get to Memphis early enough for a second visit. I'm hoping to be back home between 9pm and 11pm. I'm pretty sure I can get The Boy home before 9pm, if I do this right.
We had OMG Donuts this morning, too. The new sign out front says, "OMG Donuts. Yeah, that's right. Take a picture." So I did. Almost as good as the sign on the Baskin Robbins in Florissant all those years ago. It said, "They told me to change the sign, so I did."
