Yep. Still a big ol' dork.

I was apparently under the (mistaken) impression that the Electricity bill was on automatic. Not sure why I thought this, in hindsight.

So I get home from training downtown (and a mission of mercy) and discover that my electricity is cut off.

Um. Attention Universe: Do be careful, dear. This kind of message can sink in as "If I help random people in need, I will have things randomly taken away from me."

I'm at my mom's house. She has A/C and a spare bed (for the time being; there's an Imminent Roommate going on there, too.) I'm borrowing a cup of internet and then passing out.

In less dorky news, I plan to attend the Japanese Festival on Saturday. Sunday and Monday I'm working, and will likely be very tired when I'm done. I think we might even get The Kids this weekend, too.

Also, party at the House of Party on Saturday night. If you want more info, contact the powers that be. I will be heading over there after the festival.

I don't actually know what is going on. I paid my bill in full last month (as reflected on my bill & the notice) and yet I got a FINAL NOTICE TO DISCONNECT in the mail today along with this month's bill, saying if I didn't pay this month's bill by 9/7, which is typically when it's due, they will shut my electricity off. Um... I'm current, so WTF, Ameren?
