Just for my own information, I was wondering who is planning to attend our performance of "Much Ado About Nothing" on Wednesday at 6pm in Dogtown.
So, behold! It is a poll!
Ok, not an official LJ poll, just an informal poll. Use the comments.
Are you planning to attend the performance of Much Ado About Nothing, the final performance of Tricia's Treasure Chest of Faeries?
Option 1: No, I can't come to your show.
Option 2: Yes, I wouldn't miss it for the world. (Rain or shine!)
Option 3: I plan to come, but if it is raining I will not come.
Option 4: I'm thinking about coming, and I want you to persuade me.
In case you're an Option 4 reader, let me offer some incentives:
Pat's Bar has an awesome deal on fried chicken, as well as other delectable foods. Also, they are a bar.
If you're worried about childcare, I should point out that the show is family-friendly. Bring them!
Shakespeare too high-brow for you? Much Ado About Nothing is NOT in Iambic Pentameter. Heck, when we do it it's almost modern vernacular.
Don't have lawn chairs? We will be providing *some* seating.
Planning to go to the opening of Shakespeare in the Park instead? Consider us the opening-opening act. After we finish our show we plan to parade over to Art Hill for the Taming of the Shrew!

Date: 2011-05-25 06:47 am (UTC)If it is drizzling or just threatening, I think people will hang about. You know, they've been predicting doom and gloom since the weekend, and we've only gotten scattered thunderstorms that move in and then move out.
If it is really terrible, I will see if Pat's will let us do a "reading" in costume of the show instead of a full-blown production.

Either way Break a LEG!
