A good friend who I lost track of, name rhymes with "barren" and has an "i" in it instead of an "e".
And all you other "Christmas Season Babies." (Do the math. September is the 9th month...)
Schedule:
I am in the costume hole, hiding out because I have several more pieces to finish for Man Of La Mancha, and they're doing promo photos on TUESDAY. (Gleep!)
Next weekend I go to Lothlorien for Wild Magick. (I'm not a pagan but I sometimes play one on TV.)
The following weekend, I finish the work on any remaining Archon projects, and probably work all weekend in the store.
Then, it's Archon weekend. Feel free to attend my Birthday Party on Friday night. It will be in function space, not sure where yet.
The following weekend, I will be finishing work on Goblin Ball details, seeing Man Of La Mancha with Mom, and resting. Oh. And we'll have the kids, too.
The weekend after that is Crystal Spiral, where I am a guest speaker, and on Saturday night I am hosting the first (hopefully) annual Goblin Ball. Tell your friends. Come and see me, support me, etc.
The weekend after that we have kids again, and I will be finishing up their Halloween costumes. And working my tail off at the store.
Then it's Halloween Weekend. I work in a Halloween store. Figure it out. And don't call me.
The weekend after that I collapse into a coma, or go to Contraception in KC, if I am lucky. (Yeah, right.) Unless Contraception is the following weekend, at which point I will probably go, actually.
For those of you who wondered where I was this weekend;
Friday: Off work, sleeping peacefully. Awakened by a call from New Line. They wanted to know if I was done with the costumes. (No.) They reminded me that the photo shoot for promo picts was going to be this Tuesday. (Gasp! Gulp!) Not Friday? I asked.
No.
Tuesday.
Well, that launched me out of bed at lightning speed. I had patterns to pick up, errands to run, etc.
Did so.
Got some costuming done.
And we had the kids this weekend and were supposed to celebrate the girl's birthday.
Pant, pant, pant.
I am still not *Done* with La Mancha, but I am much closer, and will at least have stuff for them to pose in, even if it isn't the costume they end up wearing.
Sigh.
Now, one more preview.
I have opinions about 9/11.
I have stuff to say.
Be afraid, be very afraid, I will share them soon.
