Woof.
I went from a desk job right back into retail. Not only that, but I jumped right back into retail SET-UP. I have rug burns on my knees (through my jeans), and a cardboard cut on my left index finger.
Yeowch!
Oddly enough, though, I am happy. The perks: I don't go in until 9am, and the store is 5 minutes from my house. I get to sleep in for an hour and a half.
I get one costume (of my choice) at 50% off, and I get to wear any of my costumes as long as it is represented in our inventory.
Bwa ha ha! Time to get out the "Halloween Costumes."
I got to set the Make-up area, and show off my mad skills at merchandizing. I got to do most of the things I do really well (as far as retail non-customer stuff goes) and look good doing it.
This should be fun!
I am still going to do the Goblin Ball. I am still going to try to do the costumes for Man Of La Mancha. I am still planning to go to Lothlorien and Archon. All other events can consider themselves canceled.
Oh.
I might do a couple of candle parties, if I can get them scheduled in.
