Purple Alert!

Ok, once again due to poor financial planning on my part, I am short by about $30 for a payment that MUST BE MADE with nothing but a MONEY ORDER and the deadline for the postmark is the 10th.
Dammit.
I get my first "Real" check from my new employer on Friday, but tomorrow is the 10th and if this payment is late it will SERIOUSLY screw up my life. No ifs ands or buts. (My temp agency was sending me my check on Tuesday.) So, I was counting on money not only from the many events this weekend (which I didn't make) and from the much more likely source of my employer, failing to take into account that my new employer cuts the checks on Friday (as is customary) instead of Thursday.
I need $30 in a hurry.
Here's my thought:
I have several pair of beautiful butterfly wings available right now. Since I didn't sell any at the Pagan Picnic, I would be happy to not only sell anyone out there a pair, but to deliver them directly to you, tomorrow.
They cost $30 each, but if you buy multiple pairs, I will make a deal on them. ($20 each for two.)
They come with a lovely headwreath with your choice of just leaves or leaves and flowers. The headwreaths themselves are $5 a piece.
I just finished a really cute pair of Dragonfly wings, too. They are blue-green-and-teal. They *are* made from coathanger wire, but they are not made with nylons. They're made with cellophane, so they are transparent.
I also do card readings, housecleaning, child care, and random art.
Does anyone want to pay me for something (anything) so that I can get this payment in on time, and finally get my finances in order?
Edit:
I tried to figure out how to put the picture of the wings in here. Can't seem to do so.
As it is, I seem to have two rescuing helpers.

Date: 2004-06-09 01:43 pm (UTC)Between 4:30 and then I will be driving from Bridgeton to The Sisters of St. Joseph for my meeting with Sr. Mary Ann. After I get done with that meeting, I will be going to said friend's house to clean. She never seems to mind visitors, and knows you since you and A went to her party.

Date: 2004-06-09 01:55 pm (UTC)I really appreciate your offer. Really, truly.
But the second offer comes from a closer source, so that fewer people are inconvienenced by my lack of planning.
:)
This means that if I can find a post office which is open late (isn't there one downtown somewhere?) I can actually get this stupid payment in the mail and postmarked by TODAY which would lower my panic levels quite a bit.
(Sigh.)
