The truck wouldn't perform badly for the nice people, so they can only say, "Eh, it probably needs a tune-up."
A tune-up is around $300. A bit more, actually. Yeah. Not immediately.
I was supposed to get together with my S.O. tomorrow. He applied for a pass for a social day with me, and we had arrangements to spend time in each other's space.
This morning, I find out that his pass was cancelled or denied or something. He apparently can't get social time off.
So not only do I not get my date, I don't even get to see him this week at all.
Sigh.
I have several other things that I can do, should do, or would like to do (or some combination thereof), but having that time with him taken away struck a terrible blow.
