kukla_tko: (Kitty Crack ho)
Much like my birthday greed list, I want to open with the obvious:

I don't need stuff right now. REALLY do not need stuff.
Mom moved and gave me many things. Roommate Two moved in with tons of stuff. I don't have places for things right now.

However, these are the few things I would enjoy:

Electronics: I have my dumb phone! It holds a charge! Naturally, as soon as I secured this thing, Mom changed our plan to unlimited talk, text, and data.
(cue the smoke coming from my ears.)
So, I'd cheerfully accept an older or unwanted smart phone right now. So far I have only successfully texted the word Butt with my dumb phone because it is ULTRA dumb.
Ideally, an older model of Iphone would be great, but I'm down with anything that can use Tmobile.

My Ipad is starting to get crabby. It may be time for a new one. The screen is still cracked and taped, so selling it won't net me much at the moment.

If someone has a windows laptop that is still managing to run XP, I'd cheerfully enjoy that. My digitizing software can't be installed on anything newer, and it would be useful to be able to take a laptop to meetings with clients.

Cashy Moneys: As usual, I could use cash. I can also use travel money to see my Significant Other, which I'll be doing with the kids in the New Year. So gas cards, fast food cards, and other travel money type stuff.
Anyway, you can paypal me money, or give me cash or pocket change or personal checks.

Sarah Rees Brennan's second and third book in the Unspoken series. (Duplicates are also welcome. Give the woman your money.)

Gift Cards: Jackman's Gift cards mean money. Itunes gift cards and Amazon gift cards are helpful as well. Other places I shop: QT, Schnuck's, Trader Joe's, Itunes, LUSH, art supply stores. Gift Certificates for online BJD vendors or local artisans are also well-appreciated. (You know which ones. Curious Cat. Bast's Garden. Moria Silver if they have such things.)

Food. On the one hand, we have two food hoarders living here, on the other hand food gets eaten. I could use snack foods that don't have MSG or Sugar in them.
If you want to give me cookies for Christmas, give them VERY SOON. Receiving a plate full of sugary goodness on the 25th (or God help me, later in the season) is actually slightly cruel. It means I have a week to eat them before I quit cold turkey. I'd really prefer to ramp down carefully, because in past years when I ate all the sugar I could before New Year's day, the crash was harder. The withdrawal was uglier.
The past two years, I had to give away my cookies because I couldn't get through them all before the 1st.
If you want to bake me something, I like many kinds of breads. I like biscuits. I like pretty much every kind of bready product, and now have a toaster!!

Other Consumables: Sure, toilet paper, paper towels, cat litter (scoopable), and other disposable stuff that all households need? I love getting that stuff as a gift. REALLY.

Booze: Well, really, this is not something I need, but we're still replenishing the bar. I like exotic liquors. I have a nice bottle of Sambuka right now, and a couple of partial bottles of absinthe. And Jaegermeister. Though more of those are appreciated, too. I could go for some Southern Comfort, or a nice scotch/whiskey/whatever. Wine is always appreciated. That Rum Chata stuff was pretty awesome. Things to stay away from are sour apple or raspberry flavored things. Also stay away from vodka, tequila, and everclear. Otherwise, fair game. Go for it. Feel free to give me boozes made

But really, the bottom line is money, and well-wishes. If you hand craft something for me I will love it regardless. I absolutely love hand-made gifts. I just wanted to remind everyone that my house is very full at the moment.
