Minkee Blankee

I am less angry today. Well, I will always be that angry at Allura's mom, but I have it managed better.

Ok.
If you don't know what Minkee Blankee is, it's a fabric which is similar to the "Ty Fur", but not EXACTLY like it, since Ty patented that fur.

It's soft. Way soft. Softer than baby ducks soft. Mmm. Squishy.

We make these things at work called "Minkee Pals" which are basically miniature stuffed animals using an embroidery machine to create a "Brown Dog" critter.

They're cute and soft and fluffy.

I have a bat. She's purple. I like her a lot, although I have to finish her seam on my own.

Sounds like I'm on drugs, doesn't it? Nah. I'm like this all the time.

Told my coworkers; I'm a nut. They tried to protest, but I explained that I was serious, I'm a nut.

So, if you like me a lot, next time you see me, say, "You nut!"

My SO does. All the time.

Ugh. Going to go fall over into a food coma from Pasta House. Mmm. They're doing this stuffed pasta assortment which is wonderful. And they brought back our favorite appetizer: Calamari Fritti.

Ohhh. Yummy.

No... now I am going to go do "weird things" to Allura.

Well. There's still life in the ol' Monkey yet.

After having gotten a most enthusiastic response (constantly) from my primary contact for the Celtic Heritage Festival and Highland Games, I find out that we're not performing after all (despite being listed in the event schedule.)
