Clothes... put... on?

I need to wear clothes this weekend, obviously.
It's a convention. I know that I wear to conventions; I wear COSTUMES.
It's not that kind of convention.
But I don't want to wear my work clothes.
I don't want to wear jeans and a t-shirt.
What the hell do I wear?
Last year I wore a couple of outfits that I like, personally, but I didn't feel very fabulous in them.
This year, I want to feel fabulous.
