Up too late

I caught myself today.
I was rubbing my hands together.
I don't mean that I'm maniacally rubbing them together planning world domination or dastardly deeds. I mean that my anxiety levels are getting high again.
Bleah.
Hopefully a week off will settle me down again.
At this point, it is still possible that I might not be able to manage the Orlando trip. I'm hoping to resolve the whole thing tomorrow morning, but bleah. Fortunately, I have the transportation issue settled. It's the lodging issue that worries me. We'll see how that works out.
I feel unprepared and worried. I want to go to Orlando and do the things, but I worry that the cash flow isn't going to work out. I think I've decided that at least one day will be devoted to beach/relaxation time.
I'm going to head off to bed now and hopefully I'll be able to wind down enough to sleep.
I admit that if the lodging thing doesn't work out, I might hit the kids up for options.
Option 1: Wing it.
We head down there and look for an inexpensive motel somewhere. We look for local discount tickets and coupons. We deal with it until I run out of money. Then we head home. The good news is that I get paid while we're down there and I've arranged for the check to be deposited quickly. The bad news is that it might mean waiting until that money hits to do anything.
Option 2: Head down to Talladega and then come home. For extra fun, head up to Michigan and spend the week on the beach up there. Lodging is covered and food would be cheap. The kids have never been to the lake. Skip second trip to Talladega.
Option 3: Head down to Talladega, then down to New Orleans or other destinations in the south. Do the road-trip thing and visit weird places we've never been. Make it up as we go along until it is time to head home.
Option 4: Head down to Talladega, then go to Arkansas for a visit. (Hear that, Allura?) I'm sure we can spend a week in Little Rock and the surrounding area, head back home through Springfield and do Silver Dollar City/Branson on the way home.
See. I have options. I don't need to panic. I don't need to panic. I don't need to panic...
In other news, there's a big ol' machine headed my way. If all goes well, I will be able to pay for that tomorrow and have a bit left over to cushion me during the trip. If not, I'll put a small amount down and deal with it when I get back.
