Well, that was fun!

If you saw the previous post, you know that I went to the 7:30 showing of Guardians of the Galaxy.

And it was quite an event.
I got an email response from alphak10 right away. I got home and added Roommate 1. I also got a phone call from phierma and cosx.
Sounded like a fun group!

I was wearing the new skirt from professor, a lovely blue wrap-around number with gold trim, so I put on a face and did something with my hair, added accessories and cute shoes.

We ate some pesto pizza (yum!) and headed out the door. On the way to the theater, I got a call from The Dragons, who wanted in on the fun.

I got to the theater, put Roommate 1 in line for the touch screen and stood in the regular line myself. While I was waiting, I got a call...

...From Curious Cat, who I had gone to the Tori Amos concert with on Friday. In fact, I'd crashed at her house all weekend and had gone to work directly from her place. She and Mister Cat *were at that same showing of that same movie* and had decided to do this independently of my post on the subject.

She put it most eloquently: "What a crazy random happenstance!"

So we tried to get seats for everyone but were short two. (Technically, we were short one, but that's no fun.) So the Dragons went and sat in the section ahead of us.

The movie was great! It was fun and entertaining and sweet and silly and rude and all the things. Kind of all the things at once. I'm astonished that they made Rocket and Groot so sympathetic and oddly real.

And all this from the guys who brought us PG Porn.

Also: I need a dancing Groot. That is all.
