Mmm. Day off...

But I am doing some laundry and changing the sheets on my gigantic bed. I'm also going to work on a face-up for one of Mom's new dolls. (It's a Real Puki, the smallest doll I've done so far. It is, of course, MUCH larger than the miniatures I used to paint, though.)
I had some errands to run but they will have to wait until I get paid tomorrow, so instead I bought essentials and have been living on Mango Lassi all afternoon. There are worse ways to spend an afternoon!
I'm also researching foods. I have both Tahini and Date Syrup and I had no idea that they are paired together in a lot of middle eastern cooking. YUM! OMG! For dinner I'm going to make some stir-fry, and make a couple of different experimental sauces.
There are lots of clips on YouTube for Justice League and the like. I fell down that hole earlier, too. I forgot how much I loved the whole set of DC cartoons. This is why Marvel did the Avengers movie, you know. Marvel couldn't touch DC on animation. LOL. I watched an interview (YouTube again) with the voice of Batman, and it threw me that both Batman and Bruce Wayne are character voices for him. He doesn't actually sound like either one of them! Go Kevin Conroy, go! I also watched a bit of Mark Hamil and discovered that he has been doing a lot of video game voice work recently, including a turn as Wolverine. Whoa.
And if you look for it, you can find a video from a convention panel where a dorky fanboy (seriously, yo) asking Mark Hamil about Heath Ledger's performance of the Joker. Mark LOVED it, by the way. And at the end of the video the fanboy gets Mark to say, "Why so serious" in the character voice of the Joker from the Animated series.
You know, now I actually want that Arkham City video game. I actually want to play the damn thing. Hm...
