Last minute needs
Oct. 31st, 2011 12:47 amOk, here's what I need for Halloween Night, if anyone can accommodate me:
Plastic Tubing: Not necessary, but it would make The Mad Science Lab look much cooler. If all else fails, I'll use glow necklaces/bracelets connected together.
Little glowy lights:
harmfulguy, I'm kind of looking at you. Also anyone who has any of those little "candle" lights, bring 'em. The Lab needs some "burners" that don't actually burn.
Statues, figures, or movie posters of "famous monsters". I have a bookshelf for the "Famous Alumni" to display. I have The Wolfman, Dracula, and the Mummy, but I could use some additional famous monsters.
Speaking of which, I could use a gorilla mask. It would be fun to put the gorilla suit on my mannequin with a gorilla mask, and identify it as "In Memory of King Kong, class of 1953". A BJD or Barbie could sit in it's hand...
Extension cords. Seriously, I bought dozens of the things, and they've all disappeared. I have one horrifically long orange one, and a green one that is already in place. I could use extension cords with more than one plug in them, too.
The current plan is to lock the cats in the basement, which will be easier for cat containment than keeping them upstairs. The downstairs bathroom will be available, but we'll need to keep the cats down there for their own safety. This way we don't have to police the front door as aggressively. I may also set up a bonfire (ok, a grill fire) in the back yard for roasting halloweenies and marshmallows. I'm planning a pork roast and a stuffed pumpkin, along with various chips and stuff.
Let the spookiness begin!
Oh, and daytime help is appreicated. Call first, in case I'm doing last-minute shopping or taking a nap. :D
