Tomorrow morning (waaaay too early) I plan to leave for Lothlorien Nature Sanctuary for Wildmagick Festival.

I plan to leave at 7am.

We're going to caravan to the site, and I'm hoping that works out.

I've planned for snack foods and munchables, with the intention of buying my meals at the Radiance Hall.

We have SO much awesome stuff planned!
Through the Looking Glass is on.
We're bringing the Living Tarot back to its origin.
I have lots of other cool stuff planned.

Whoo!

Now I have to go pack it all. Suck.

But I get to put it in the gorgeous green truck! Whee!

On the other hand, it was a 48 hour week for me this week. Ugh. Bleah. I think I shall sample some more of my recently-acquired boozes...

Halfway. I keep telling myself: I'm halfway through.

48 hour week, being flogged the whole time by my boss. Tomorrow I get up at the crack of dawn to drive for five hours. I then spend a frenetic weekend performing, playing, drinking, singing, dancing, and drumming.

The good news is that I have a sneaky Monday off. The bad news is that it also means next week is short on hours. Considering that THIS week is LONG on hours, it should all come out in the wash in time for my Archon check.

But then, I work four days in a row, including teaching Thursday evening, teaching Friday morning and Friday Afternoon, then going to my Mom's house for Birthday Dinner. Mmm. Cake.
Saturday the 24th, I'm leading a Steampunk Expedition to the Pirate Festival. Airship Pirates, anyone?

Then there's further fun planned later on, and I work on Sunday. And Monday. Tuesday, wednesday and Thursday. Then I head out to Archon Thursday night, get settled and get some damn sleep. Then there's the Frenetic weekend of Archon, which once again involves performing, playing, drinking, singing, dancing, and if not drumming, certainly *hosting*.
Work on Monday.

After that, October will be slightly easier. Yes, you can tell me about cool things happening in October. It would be nice to participate in one of my favorite seasons rather than working my @ss off for other people's fun.

However, I do want to put it out there that I will have to schedule the occasional Downtime Day. A Downtime Day means: No cleaning. No grocery shopping. No laundry. No social time. No work. Downtime is DOWN time, wherein I sleep, read, and recharge. I need more of these, more often than I used to.
So if you invite me to do some fun and crazy thing, or ask if I have time to help you, and I say I don't have a free day that week, it means that the one day off has been set for DownTime.

I'm going to schedule downtime. Consider it a Sabbath, for all intents and purposes.
Things that might contribute to DownTime include a visit to the Chiropractor, a pedicure, or something similar. Going to a movie is not down time, but watching TV or a movie at home could be. Movie Night is not Down time. If God can rest on the seventh day, then damn it, so can I.
