Opportunity knocks
Apr. 2nd, 2011 09:01 pmAs many of you are aware, The Treasure Chest is going out with a bang. Our final performance will be on May 25th at 6pm.
We're performing "Much Ado About Nothing" as part of the Shake 38 project kicking off this year's Shakespeare in the Park series.
I'm still short a couple of speaking parts. I have plenty of ladies, but I'm in need of a few fellas. If you are interested in reading for me, please send me a LJ message or email or call me.
In other news, I have other craziness planned for the spring. The Boy turns 17 this month, so we need to do something fun for him. Easter is the 24th, and we do have the kids that weekend so whoo hoo for Easter fun! I also want to get the Dolly group together for Easter celebrating, so that will be the weekend before.
May is shaping up to be busy as well. I'm flirting with the notion of a party the first weekend. The second weekend is completely nuts for me. Then I get a couple of weeks to finish getting the play ready, and my cunning plans to do a dress rehearsal at the Faire are NOT going to pan out. The last three weekends in May are claimed by Interfuse, a big ol' seminar at work (which I'm co-hosting! Yikes!) and then there's show week right before Labor Day Weekend.
No. I will NOT be attending Elf Fest this year. Sigh. I may try to make it out for Wild Magick in the fall.
Bleah. Too much to do!
Now I must go ready my house for an occupancy inspection (Yo! Anyone know what I should be doing to make this work well?) and take a big ol' butcher knife to The Bard's funniest comedy. Heh. Wish me luck!
