But not as busy as it might have been.

I was slated to:
Work on Friday until after 6
Head to Fenton for Kid Weekend activities
Get up early on Saturday to teach an heirloom class at work followed by
A guide class at work
Then head back to Fenton for Much Ado About Nothing meeting/rehearsal/film viewing.
Get up early again on Sunday to go to the Ball Jointed Doll Tea party at Kawa Con
Flee early to get to my customer's house to pick up a gigantic machine and take it to work
Teach a guide class on said giant machine
Return machine to Customer's house
Come home and pass out.

Fortunately (unfortunately?), I was too sick to work on Friday (the coughing jags were too frequent and freaky; I personally prefer that clerks NOT cough all over me and the merchandise when I'm shopping.)
I called in and asked how many confirmed people I had for the Saturday morning class.

Two.

Well, forget that, then! Saturday morning class cancelled, probably forever since I had a hard time drumming up students. (Brushes hands off)

So I rested (which my body desperately needed) on Friday and did not drive out to Fenton either. Saturday morning I got up but then napped on and off (sitting up, which was working better than laying down at that point) until I needed to go to work to teach. New Roommate came by with some stuff and her mom, so I got to say "hi" before taking a shower and dashing off to work.

Taught my class, which went well. Went to Fenton, figured out how to get the film we needed, ate foods and watched Much Ado About Nothing with an appreciative crowd. I now have some casting ideas, just need to get more of us together to do "audition" readings.

Came home WAY too late because we were having such an awesome time geeking out together...

This morning, I got up, showered, selected something that could be both Mad Hattrix for the con and Reasonably Mundane for class at work.

Unfortunately, this was the Daylight Savings weekend, where Fenris the Wolf swallows an hour of our lives. This dramatically affected Sunday activities, I think.

The Dolly Tea was delightful, and yes, I've volunteered to take over BJD programming for next year, including the tea. I have a further post on this topic that I'll get to later. I even won a prize package! Whoo!

So, slightly less busy which suits me just fine. It was a good weekend!
