Friends and friends of friends,

You are invited to [livejournal.com profile] alienzen's annual birthday party!

Sat. 3/15 from 7:00 PM to whenever...([livejournal.com profile] alienzen is a night owl)

@ The House Of Party in Fenton!

Come and celebrate!! Gifts not necessary, but he loves funny cards.

Hot tub open and warmer weather has been special ordered.

We are providing food and drinks for all but if you have a favorite
drink or
dish you want to bring, you are welcome. Games and Toys will add to the
entertainment. Be afraid. Be very afraid...

Be aware that there will be kids in the house, which means that you can bring the little ones along with you. Plenty of kid's fun to be had in the House Of Party. We might even let the kids play with the toys... if we can pry them away from the "adults"...

([livejournal.com profile] alienzen's real birthday is St. Patrick's day but we will be in dog town for the parade. If you want to join us for Dogtown Celebration on the 17th, we have a line on parking. Let us know.)

I'd tell you that if you need directions, ask, but do any of you really NEED directions anymore? (If so, post away. I'll email them to you.)

Good Ol' St. Patrick is a personal favorite of mine.

I like to do it up in style for his day.

This year that means celebrating [livejournal.com profile] alienzen's birthday on Saturday March 15th.

We're also going to go to the parade downtown in the morning. Does anyone want to join me for parade watching? Personally, I think it would be completely awesome to flash-mob the spectators dressed as Irish Faeries. Seriously. Does anyone else want to join in on this?

On Monday the 17th, I plan to spend the day in Dogtown. I might even decide to spend the night at my brother's house on Tamm so that I can just roll out of bed (er, couch) and be ready to rock and roll! If you haven't been to the Dogtown celebrations, you're seriously missing out. Anyone who is free that day (and believe me, you'll want to spend the day, getting OUT of there that day is somewhat difficult) LET ME KNOW right away so that we can arrange carpooling and/or parking for the event.
My father lives in Dogtown, also. So there are plenty of places that *I* can offer for parking, but I really do need to know in advance.

My brother typically gets a "keg" and asks for a donation toward it. I imagine that mass quantities of sharable food or boozes would count as a donation. He usually has games of Tip-Cup and Beer Pong, and karaoke going on at his house. There's street festivities, the parade throws beads and random crap, and it's just a fun neighborhood festival.

So! Who's up for some crazy (not very Irish, I'll admit) celebrating?
