Told ya.

Do not congratulate me unless I announce that I have actually MADE some accomplishment.

This morning I ran by the Lindbergh store to pick up some designs and some displays for the Club event today (Christmas in July).

I got to meet a new employee in the Sewing Machine Department.
Whom I have never heard of.
And who Herr Jackman asked a technical question (cutting me off to do so.)

Ms. Jackman got REALLY squirrelly when she saw me there and abruptly confirmed that I was coming in to actually work a shift at that store tomorrow.

I sense a meeting.

I also sense that I am indeed stuck at the south store because someone else was hired to replace my former boss.

Nice of them to give her the plum position and screw me over. Also, nice of them to let me know.

This is why I'm cagey here.
This is why I don't count chickens unless they're pecking my hand.

I just worked a 12 hour day.
I must remind myself that sunyudai and bakadragon actually have a much better idea of what a BAD DAY is.

Also: Beware. I think bradhicks Is the current Outbreak Monkey. We're all sickly here.

EDIT: sunyudai and bakadragon are fine, everything is FINE, seriously. There was just that one bad day of incredibly AWFUL bad luck.
