I like to dress up.

I've decided to do some "dressing up" with my journal. So, how do I look?
I also have some new icons. Mmm. Webcomic based icons. Jeph Jacques' Questionable Content was just loaded with (what I think are) good ideas and images. None of them even needed additional words.
Steal 'em if you want, but give the man some credit, ok?

Oh, and I neglected to credit John Allison of Scary Go Round for the Explodey! Icon. Sorry about that.

I can put a picture in the background of this thing. Any suggestions? I'm kind of at a loss... Perhaps I should make some art and put it back there.

My art teacher said that art is the expression of an idea through a personality using any random media. (He then tried to train us to be perfect little cameras, creating images based on what was in front of us instead of what was inside of us. Odd, that...)

My favorite kind of art is the impermanent kind: Appearing, making an impression and gone tomorrow. Face painting (when I do it, it frequently becomes art), performance, costuming, sketching, writing, multi-media (for those of us who can't make decisions) and music.
The best art I have ever made was like the apostles speaking in tongues: Everyone who experienced it had a distinctive and different impression of what was happening.

So perhaps I ought to make a poll... because I can do that.
One of you lovely people bought me an account, after all.
