The festival approaches...

Soon, I shall appear in public in my Faerie Queen Form.

Others shall appear with me as Titania the Crystal Princess, Oberon King of the Faeries, Merlin the Magician, Guenevere The Faerie Godmother, Bridget the Faerie Maid, The McLeod of Dunvegan Castle, not to mention fire faeries, elves and other magical creatures.

Where's this going down? Just south of the STL metro area.

It is the Arcadia Valley Celtic Festival.

It's being held at the Arcadia Academy.

We're there all weekend with the following activities for children of all ages (and by that I mean anyone with a child's delight and enthusiasm.)

The Fey Parade
The Knighting Ceremony for Knights, Princesses, and Changelings of the Faerie Realm.
Make your own Faerie Teacup. Do it, since later on there's:
High Tea with the Faerie Court
Two stage shows daily
"How to draw Celtic Knotwork" workshop
Face Painting
The Faerie Oracle
Sing alongs and silly games

Not to mention that the faeries and elves will be walking the streets of the festival. You never know when a faerie might drop a crystal in your pocket or tickle you with a feather...

For STL residents, it really isn't that far, and there's lots more to do than our track of family fun.
There's also Highland Games, Piper's school, FOOD FOOD FOOD, Performers singing all through the day, the feasts and the games...
