A very close friend of mine asked me why I had this fondness for @holes. I sputtered something about that not being true, but then I thought about it...
And I suddenly understood what she meant. See, I have a lot of guy friends who would be defined by other women as @holes because they come across to those women as arrogant, self-centered know-it-alls without a trace of humility or empathy.
The great loss to all those women is that these men aren't Jerks.
