Time for a commercial break
Mar. 29th, 2004 09:16 amthe Big Ol' Dork show will be back in a minute. Now a word from our sponsor...

I have booked a gig for my Performance Troupe... somewhat abruptly. There is a fellow that we worked with at the Missouri Renaissance Festival in Mansfield. He is a great guy and a real professional. He has wanted to get my group to perform at his faire, but we never were able to do so due to conflicts.
This year, the Celtic Faire will be on Easter Weekend. Normally I would shrug and say, "No Deal." However, since we don't have the kids that weekend, I started to really think about it. Since most of my family is in the Troupe, and this event is only down in Farmington... why not have Family Easter at the faire?
At any rate, we will be performing the duties of a Ren Faire Court (Kid's Knighting ceremony) and performing 2 shows daily. On Easter Sunday we will host a Dragon's Egg hunt, for a small fee.
Everyone is welcome to come to the Faire. I don't even think it costs money, except for the banquet. There will be some great merchants selling their wares, plus Highland Games, music, dancing and more!
Frankly, I can't wait!
