Sep. 16th, 2006 01:19 amI just caught a live frog in my mom's house.
Her cat led me to it. Earlier tonight he got very VERY excited about something behind the TV.
alienzen used his digital camera to get a peek at what he was stalking; it was a brightly colored golden sticky-frog-toy left over from kid-related fun. It was stuck to one of the wires and when the bass would rumble it would jiggle a bit. The cat was fascinated. (he's the one in the icon pic, btw)
alienzen went upstairs to play with his photos.
I'm fooling around online and I see the cat get very excited about a spot on the wall by the couch. I glance over and see the spot MOVE.
It was a frog.
A live frog, about three inches long while crouched.
On the wall.
I scooped him up gently and sent him out of the sliding glass door.
So, one more reason to come to my Mom's house: Help us find the loose frogs!
****EDIT****
Ok, I misunderstood. The Frog behind the TV was also a live frog. He said it was a "sticky frog" and I thought he was referring to the squishy, sticky, wall-crawler plastic frogs that we have given the kids in the past. Nope. It was ALSO a live frog. Stay tuned for pictures!
